Classic Waffle Recipe (Thermomix)

250 g milk

2 eggs

80 g sugar

100 g butter, melted

300 g plain flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

1 pinch salt
πͺ Thermomix Instructions

Mix wet ingredients
Add milk, eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla to the Thermomix bowl.
Mix 20 sec / Speed 4 -
Add dry ingredients
Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
Mix 15 sec / Speed 4
Scrape down sides if needed, then mix 5 sec / Speed 4. -
Rest the batter (important!)
Let the batter rest in the bowl for 10 minutes.
This helps create lighter waffles. -
Cook the waffles
Preheat waffle iron. Lightly grease.
Pour batter into the hot waffle maker and cook until golden and crisp.

For extra crisp waffles, separate the eggs and whip the egg whites
β Whip whites 2 min / Speed 3.5 and fold in gently at the end -
Donβt overfill the waffle iron

Keep cooked waffles warm in a low oven (100Β°C) if cooking in batches
